Captain Mike once again takes to the skies, but this time in his CF18 Traffic Fighter Jet. Streaking across the sky he targets someone who has stopped in a merge lane. Bombs away.
"This is Captain Mike in Calgary's only traffic fighter jet." When we first approached radio stations with this series of spec ads the Program Managers laughed. A lot. And out loud. Then we asked them how many more they want beyond the three we'd done. We'd written ones with Chinook Helicopters, Harriers, you name it. They stared blankly across the table and said, "We can't play these on the air. People will think they're real."
Up and Away went Captain Mike; aiming his cross-hairs not on Radio Program Managers, but back to the streets of Calgary and the bitterly congested. This is the second ad in the series and was written and recorded at Em Records in downtown Calgary with Michael Dargie, Emre Unal and Michael McAdam.
